Charity and Development Appeal

The Charity and Development Appeal (CDA) is the one Diocesan appeal that asks every Catholic family to financially and prayerfully support the more than 65 educational, charitable and spiritual organizations which counsel, feed, clothe, house, educate and comfort those in need throughout the four Arizona counties (Mohave, Maricopa, Coconino and Yavapai) within our Diocese. We are a family and the CDA serves the needs of our people beyond the boundaries of any one parish. As a result, more people are served across the community as well as within the parishes.



Catholic Community Foundation

 Catholic Community Foundation is an independent, non-profit charitable organization that works with individuals, families and organizations who want to support the religious, educational and philanthropic objectives of the Diocese of Phoenix. Established in 1983, Bishop Thomas J. O’Brien, along with a group of laymen and clergy from the Diocese of Phoenix, took a leap of faith and formed the Catholic Community Foundation (CCF). Their goal was to raise funds to provide ongoing financial support for the future of Catholic education and communications, which in addition to many recent and newer initiatives, the Foundation remains true to today. Little, however, did Bishop O’Brien and his counterparts know at the time just how much the Foundation would come to accomplish over the coming year.

Catholic Education Arizona

The Catholic Tuition Organization of the Diocese of Phoenix (CTODP) is now Catholic Education Arizona. We’ve always worked to make Catholic education available, affordable and accessible to all families.

Now, as Catholic Education Arizona we’re broadening our mission to develop youth who will perpetuate the Catholic faith, serve society and transform culture.
