Kino, the Diocesan Institute for Lay Ministry Formation and Education,
will be moved to the Diocesan Pastoral Center as soon as the designated
space can be prepared. The actual date of the move will be announced when
the offices are finished.
The programs and course offerings will be conducted either at the Pastoral
Center or a parish facility.
Presently, sites at ASU Downtown and in the surrounding area are being
considered to relocate the Kino Library.
Kino has always hosted the University of San Francisco. This Jesuit University
provides opportunities for persons to study toward a Masters Degree in
Theology. The Diocese values this educational opportunity and will continue
to have a partnership with the Jesuit University. These services are included
in the consideration and planning in the relocation process. It is an
expectation that the schedule of the program and courses offered by the
University of San Francisco will continue as planned.
